The project demonstrates how a conventional LED wall and a custom-shaped display can work together to create a more memorable visitor experience.

Project Story

Project Background

The South Korean project combines an approximately 107 m² P2.5 indoor LED display area with a spherical LED feature. The source photographs show the display being used as an immersive visual surface, with the sphere acting as an independent focal object inside the room. Together, the two formats support both wide-format storytelling and a more sculptural form of digital content.

The Installation Challenge

A flat LED wall and a sphere do not behave in the same way. The flat surface is built for conventional wide-format content, while the spherical display requires content that wraps around a curved object without losing the sense of form. The installation also has to manage viewing angles, access around the equipment, clean integration into an indoor space and consistent visual quality between the two display types.

On-site result and installation context

Why P2.5 and a Spherical Display

P2.5 is well suited to an indoor environment where visitors can stand relatively close to the screen and still expect fine text, smooth gradients and detailed imagery. The spherical display adds a second layer of experience: it can show a globe, branded motion graphics or other content that is naturally enhanced by a 360-degree form. This combination gives the venue both a large canvas and a strong photo-worthy feature.

The Finished Result

The completed system turns content playback into spatial storytelling. The large LED area provides the visual scale needed for immersive scenes, while the sphere creates a memorable object that draws attention from multiple directions. For a venue, showroom or experience centre, this format offers more than screen size: it gives visitors a visual landmark they can immediately recognise and remember.
