Overview

The UGN II is Unilumin’s indoor rental cabinet: a die-cast frame with quick-lock hardware, 500 × 500 mm cabinet geometry and the clean, square proportions that make a flat, seamless wall easy to build.

This batch left the factory in 2024 and has been retired from event fleets — not resold as new stock. Because the real question with a used panel is never “does it light up” but “what condition is this lot in”, the rest of this page is built around that: the reference specification, the grading scale we apply, what we check before shipping, and what you actually receive with the quote.

What the numbers mean in practice

P3.91 is an indoor pitch that still looks clean at normal viewing distances — roughly 4 m and beyond. 800–1,200 nits is comfortable for halls, showrooms and control rooms, but it is not built to fight daylight outdoors. 3,840 Hz refresh keeps the wall stable on camera.

Anything that only the lot itself can answer — exact power draw, cabinet weight, receiving-card model, scan mode, connector type — is written on your quotation rather than assumed from the series name.

Condition, Grading and Warranty

First, we grade every cabinet on two things only: visual condition and service age. Moreover, we print the grade on your quotation, so price and condition always travel together. Consequently, you never compare an ungraded price with a graded one.

How the grades map to warranty

Grade A Cleanest stock available 12 months
Grade B Light service wear, fully functional 12 months
Grade C Visible cosmetic wear, fully functional 6 months
Grades D–E We quote Grade D as-is with full condition notes; meanwhile, we never sell Grade E panels and keep them only as internal repair stock —

What we check before it ships

  • Cabinet identity and label check against the batch record
  • Power-on and 72–96h full-brightness burn-in testing (see SOP)
  • Module uniformity and dead-pixel review
  • Rear electronics, power supply and connector inspection
  • Accessory set and packing check against the quotation

Findings are documented per batch. You receive the inspection evidence with your quotation — not a generic series photo that could belong to any lot.

Workflow images are used to show the process; the photographic record for your specific batch comes with the quotation.

What's in the Box

Included with every cabinet

Furthermore, each cabinet ships with its original receiving card and matched power supply from the same production lot, rather than mismatched aftermarket parts.

Batch-dependent accessories

Power links, data cables, hanging hardware, spare modules and flight cases vary from lot to lot. In addition, we itemise all accessories on the quotation and show them in the inspection photos before payment. If your project needs a fixed accessory set, ask for the packing list before you order.

Where It Works Best

Typical applications

  • Corporate interiors, lobbies and reception walls
  • Retail and brand showrooms
  • Control rooms and monitoring walls
  • Studios and broadcast backdrops
  • Education and auditorium screens
  • Indoor video walls and event stages

Is P3.91 the right pitch for your room?

A 3.91 mm pitch is normally specified where the closest comfortable viewing distance is about 4 m or more; tighter rooms usually move to P2.6 or P1.9. Send us the viewing distance, screen width and installation height and we will confirm whether this batch fits — or point you to a closer pitch we actually have on the floor.

Customisation and OEM Support

Beyond single-cabinet replacement, we can discuss quantity matching, compatible cabinet replacement, screen-size planning, controller compatibility, packing and delivery coordination. Custom cabinet design, OEM production, special accessories, control-system changes and warranty scope are project-specific, and are always confirmed in writing before they enter a quotation.

Standards and Compliance

Our engineering review references IEC 62368-1 for AV/ICT equipment safety and IEC 60529 where an IP rating is claimed, alongside applicable EMC and RoHS requirements and local electrical and building rules. Finally, our engineers verify compliance marks, test reports, and environmental ratings for the actual lot rather than assuming them from the series name.

Ordering, Price and Lead Time

Stock for this series currently runs to roughly 200 m², but availability moves quickly. Pricing is batch-specific: it follows the grade, the accessory set and the freight route.

Frequently Asked Questions & Technical Buying Guides

Is the Unilumin UGN II series on this page new or second-hand?

It is used equipment, retired from rental and event fleets rather than new factory stock. Every cabinet is inspected and graded A to E on visual condition and service age, and the grade is written on the quotation so you know exactly what condition you are buying. Grade A and B batches carry a 12-month warranty, Grade C carries six months, and Grade E panels are never sold because they are kept for repair parts.

Each cabinet is quoted with the receiving card and power supply it was removed with. Accessories such as power links, data cables, hanging hardware, spare modules and flight cases depend on the batch, so they are itemised on the quotation and shown in the inspection photos before payment. Ask for the packing list if your project needs a fixed accessory set.

As a rule of thumb, a 3.91 mm pitch is normally specified for a closest comfortable viewing distance of about 4 m; shorter rooms usually move to P2.6 or P1.9. Tell us the viewing distance, screen width and installation height and we will confirm whether this series fits, or point you to the closer pitch in our current stock.

Panels go through the inspection sequence described in our SOP: cabinet identity and label check, power-on and burn-in testing, module uniformity and dead-pixel review, rear electronics and connector inspection, then packing. The findings are documented per batch, and you receive the inspection evidence with the quotation rather than a generic series photo.

Often yes, but compatibility depends on cabinet generation, receiving card model, connector type and the original production batch, so it cannot be assumed from the series name alone. Send photos of the rear label, receiving card and cabinet connector of your existing panels and we will compare them with the batch in stock before you commit.

This listing is documented with a Nova A5sPlus control system. Configuration files and receiving-card parameters are supplied when they are still available from the batch, and we will confirm the exact controller model, sending card and software version in writing before shipment.

Send the destination country, indoor or outdoor use, viewing distance, target screen size, quantity in square metres, installation method and required delivery date. You will receive a batch-specific offer covering the graded condition, accessory set, packing, freight option and lead time; current stock indication for this series is around 200 m².
