Future cost is driven by cabinet batch, module mix, receiving-card traceability, structural condition, brightness uniformity, configuration availability and the completeness of accessories. An acceptance checklist turns “it looks cheap” into a measurable risk assessment.
Start with inventory. Record cabinet quantity, dimensions, pitch, indoor/outdoor type, serial numbers, module count, receiving-card model, power-supply model, HUB boards, locks, connectors, power cables, signal cables, flight cases and spares. Photograph the front, rear, interfaces, labels, frames, modules and internal layout. If a label or serial number is missing, mark it as an open item. Do not fill in a model from appearance.
Next, run display tests cabinet by cabinet: full white, black, red, green, blue, gray scale, gradients, grid, text and motion. Record dead pixels, dark pixels, bright pixels, colour cast, bright lines, row/column defects, flicker, ghosting and low-gray performance. Test both cold start and stable operation under the same brightness, content and viewing distance. For outdoor cabinets, review brightness and contrast under the expected environment, not only in a warehouse.
Then inspect mechanical and electrical condition. Check flatness, doors, locks, connectors, seals, screws, deformation, corrosion, water traces and repair marks. A qualified person should inspect power supplies, receiving cards and drivers, including rating labels and abnormal temperature. Do not open a powered cabinet without the correct safety procedure. Control compatibility is a separate acceptance item. Obtain the processor, sending device, receiver, firmware, configuration files and software versions.
